ENGLISH TOY SPANIEL
The English Toy Spaniel is truly a dog for the connoisseur. It is
affectionately called a 'Charlie' after King Charles I and II, the breed's
most noted patrons. Its devotion to its owners, its sweet and entertaining
nature and its unusual domed head and sweet expression, make it a first rate
companion dog. Although quiet, this dog is still a spaniel and has many
spaniel characteristics. It is robust and loves an outing or a chance to
chase a butterfly or bird. English Toy Spaniels come in four colors:
Blenheim (Red and White), Prince Charles (Black, White and Tan), Ruby (red),
and King Charles (Black and Tan).
